Christina Toth is an actor and storyteller whose work bridges languages, cultures, and mediums. Best known for her role as Annalisa Damiva in Netflix’s Orange is the New Black, Christina’s performance in Revry’s STRUT was considered for a 2022 Primetime Emmy Award.
A multilingual artist, Christina has performed in theatre productions across the United States, Canada, Belgium, and most recently, France. In 2025, she starred in the world premiere of John Patrick Shanley’s 5 Steps to Transcendence at the Avignon Theatre Festival — a critics’ pick and a striking bilingual production that offered audiences the rare opportunity to experience the play in both French and English.
Her New York theatre highlights include Lazarus by David Bowie directed by Ivo van Hove, Candlelight by John Patrick Shanley, and The Woolgatherer directed by Chazz Palminteri.
Born and raised in Montreal, Christina was introduced to the stage by celebrated French-Canadian actress Rita Lafontaine, who became a mentor and early influence. She later moved to New York City to study at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, graduating from its two-year Meisner conservatory program in 2012.
Christina is the Associate Artistic Director of The Bridge Production Group, where she plays an active role in the company’s mission to create theatre that challenges and redefines traditional modes of storytelling.
Her passion for narrative also extends to filmmaking. Her short film Talk to Me in Silence has screened at more than fifteen international film festivals — including the Oscar-qualifying Cleveland International Film Festival — and received multiple awards and honorable mentions. The feature-length version is currently in development.
Christina is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA, and a Lifetime Member of The Actors Studio.
